Plasma skin regeneration works by delivering pulses of nitrogen-based plasma to the surface of the skin. Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless gas that is part of all living tissues and makes up 80% of the atmosphere. When introduced to ultra-high frequency energy, the nitrogen is converted into a highly charged ionized gas, known as plasma. The plasma energy is used to penetrate the skin structure, causing a very controlled heating of tissue to stimulate and regenerate the skin naturally, replacing old, damaged collagen with new collagen.
